Terms and Conditions

Website-design-termsHere is a summary of our Standard Terms and Conditions. A more complete and detailed version is available upon request and also when you sign our Order Form for the supply of a Website.

Some definitions of the terms used on this page.

"Supplier" - Grand Designs for Web

"Customer" - the individual, firm, company or other party for whom the Supplier has agreed to provide the Services in accordance with these Terms

"Services" - the website design, creation and development services which the Supplier is to supply in accordance with these Terms and Conditions

"Fees" - the fees for the Services as set out by the Supplier

"Deposit" - a minimum of 25% of the fee as stated in the order form

"Input Material" - any material provided by the Customer relating to the Services, including but not limited to material in the Specification and any document, instruction or information provided by the Customer and added to the Customer Website from time to time by the Customer

"Delivery Date" - the date when the Customer Website is ready to use by consumers

"Hosting Renewal Fee" - is the fee payable by the Customer to the Supplier on the yearly anniversary of the original Delivery Date of the Website

  • No Order shall be deemed to be accepted by the Supplier unless and until confirmed in Writing by the Supplier
  • The Customer shall be responsible to the Supplier for ensuring the accuracy of the Order, which will be based on the Specification, submitted by the Customer, and for giving the Supplier any necessary information relating to the Services within a sufficient time to enable the Supplier to perform the Contract in accordance with its Terms
  • No Order which has been accepted by the Supplier may be cancelled by the Customer except with the agreement in Writing of the Supplier and on terms that the Customer shall indemnify the Supplier in full against all loss (including loss of profit), costs (including the cost of all labour and materials used), damages, charges and expenses incurred by the Supplier as a result of cancellation
  • On the Delivery Date, the Supplier shall deliver to the Customer the Customer Website together with the Documentation and any further information agreed between the Customer and the Supplier
  • The Fees shall be as quoted on the Payment Order current at the date of acceptance of the Order
  • The Customer shall pay the Deposit on signing the Payment Order Form. Once the Payment Order Form is signed, the Customer acknowledges that the Deposit is non-refundable
  • The Customer shall pay the balance of all outstanding Fees, including any additional charges as agreed upon, in full before the Delivery Date
  • The Customer shall pay to the Supplier the Hosting Renewal Fee on each one year anniversary from the date of registration of the Customer Website
  • The Customer shall at its own expense, provide the Supplier with the Input Material as reasonably required by the Supplier to provide the Services to the Customer
  • The Customer shall ensure that the Input Material is not illegal and against the interests of the public
  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to check the website’s functionality and content for accuracy and completeness
